What would you write if you knew that nobody would ever read a word of what you put on the page?
We often connect the word ‘writer’ with ‘reader’ or ‘audience’, but writing can be a personal practice that is simply for your own benefit and enjoyment, not to mention development and clarity. It can be a type of meditation that takes you as deep as you allow it to go.
Perhaps you’d write about your first sexual encounter, the day your dog died when you were six, your dream home in the mountains, your darkest moments, a list of places you want to go before you die….anything goes.
So if you were to sit down and write a page today, for noone else, just for you, what would you write?
